It's hard to believe that Riley has so much hair for being a preemie. Casey and Mindy say it changes colors ever day. I can see blond, red and brown in her hair. I wonder what color it will really be?
Riley has still been doing really good. She gained a few more oz. putting her at 2 lbs on Saturday. I think that when they weighed her that night she had gained 40 mg which put her at 2 lbs 2 oz. but she had also been given medication for her tiny hole in her heart a couple days before and her feedings of Mom's milk stopped. By Sunday she had dropped weight to 1 lb 15 1/2 oz.
Her heart murmur wasn't heard on Saturday so she didn't have to go to Primary Children's Hospital for an operation. They are still monitoring her hemorrhages in her head and making sure they don't get worse (currently they have stayed stable). We are still concerned about them and hope they will heal soon.
